The Cadogan Arms: refurbished and ready to welcome you

Newly refurbished, The Cadogan Arms will welcome visitors from July, with bookings open from 21 June.

Following a meticulous renovation to restore the much-loved Chelsea institution to its former glory, revellers can expect an opulent dining space, bustling bar area and newly renovated private=diningarea.

Open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and all-day bar snacks, the team have some illustrious experience between them. Two Michelin-starred Culinary Director James Knappett joins Executive Chef Alex Harper (formerly The Ledbury), the Sethi family behind JKS Restaurants and Dominic Jacobs of The Running Horse Mayfair to bring diners a brilliantly executed traditional pub menu.

Jacobs described the new opening as a celebration of the post-lockdown golden era of community-driven hospitality, as locals look to their immediate neighbourhoods and pubs for connection and comfort. He said The Cadogan Arms will be “reimagining ‘the humble pub’ with a public house of which Chelsea, and London, can be proud”.

Experts craftsmen have been consulted throughout the project in order to restore the pub to its former Georgian glory. As well as rediscovering lost details, like ornate timber panelling from the original architecture, the team have added a stained-glass backbar, wrought iron staircase, mosaic flooring and heritage tiled fireplaces using Yorkshire sandstone.

In the cosy and opulent dining room, walls are adorned with a selection of curated wall art celebrating the King’s Road’s rich creative history, while the bar space is illuminated by chandeliers and swathed in warm velvets and floral-patterned fabrics for a traditional-meets-modern touch. It has everything set up to ensure it will be one of your favourite locals.
